With 8 years’ experience as a Mechanical Engineer, I am adept in research, analysis, and design of industrial systems and processes. Moreover, while my on-the-job experience has afforded me a well-rounded skill set, including first-rate Designing and Improving abilities, I excel at:
- Able to design systems that maximize productivity, reduce wastefulness and production issues, are cost-efficient, and ensure high product quality.
- Experience in Interpretation and drafting of engineering drawings such as plant layouts, GA drawings, detailed drawings etc. related to above.
-Good Knowledge of Limits Fits, Tolerances, Surface Finish, Welding symbols, and international design standards.
- Designing equipment and layouts based on manufacturing needs.
- Review production schedules, engineering specifications, process flows, and other information to understand methods that are applied and activities that take place in manufacturing and services
- Assist in preparing proposal/presentation of engineering projects/programs (provision of bills of materials, estimated engineering hours etc.)
- Supervising staff and manufacturing processes and making appropriate recommendations for improvement.
- Knowledge on Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T), Design for Assembly and Manufacturing.
-Familiar with Fabrication concepts and manufacturing processes.
- Written skills to provide technical reports and operating procedures.
- Training the work of junior Mechanical Design/Manufacturing engineers.
